We went to breakfast at IHOP on Halloween with my friend Jenna because the kids got a free scary faced pancake.
Ella and her classmates; some weren't dressed up and some didn't follow directions very well. They were supposed to dress in something STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)related.
Happy Halloween from 2 scuba divers!
They dove way down and found some treasure!
AHHHHHH Vampires!
Griffin has found his favorite spot to sleep which really helps Ella settle down and sleep at night.
Ella started dribble camp last Sunday, she's taking a break from dance. She wasn't too into jazz- she said there was too much stretching!
Eva chilling while Ella was practicing her dribbling.
There were sooo many kids, probably 100; ages 4-7
Practicing a bit by herself at the park!
The girls had this last Tuesday off and guess what we did; SHOPPING. We met some close friends at the mall and enjoyed a playdate as well as the stores in the mall.
The only positive of working nights, I get to enjoy the sunrise! It's gorgeous especially with the color of the leaves.
Ella and I got to watch Eva's dance class this week, she did a great job! What a little performer she is!
Ella was playing baker, making one of our favorites. SURPRISE....its pizza!
Another bed time pic, love those ones.
Daddy took the girls to a Buckeye game/ fun session with the players/Brutus.
BRUTUS!
They got to play some blow-up games.
And tour the new gym!
And got their faces painted!
The best part of the game/fun was the cheerleaders and the OSU chants.
So Sorry for not posting these super cute pics sooner, Halloween was a big deal but this whole work thing is not for me. It's hard for me to maintain being a mom/nurse. And this week I have worked every day but Wednesday and that day I was recuperating from the night shift. I think I overdid it this week. It's nice to have money but the most important thing is my girls and I miss them terribly when I'm not with them.so changes are needed.
We are enjoying the fall season activities and our new puppy fun! The girls are still saying thank you mom and dad for the best present ever! So they are still thrilled to have a dog of their own. Ella loves to take control and thinks she can take care of Griffin all by herself; although she does not like to pick up poop...surprise! But little sister Eva always comes to the rescue, what good teamwork.
The girls had a great Halloween and fun at our Harvest church party and their school parties. I regularly volunteer at Ella's school and was able to be there with her for her party. I have yet to volunteer at Eva's school, she asks me all the time to come but their are so many teachers (5) in her class that they don't need any help at all. She still looks forward to school and loves all of her teachers. Although, by Friday she is ready for an afternoon nap and a break, she's a trooper. I think Griffin has added an extra challenge to their lives. They are up early to take him our by themselves and continue to take him out so he doesn't pee/poop in the house. He's finally starting to get it. He does not like his kennel when we are gone though; it will take time! The last 2 nights he has not peed/pooped in his kennel so a big milestone there. WE ARE SO PROUD :o)
We are looking forward to Eva's teacher conference this week and a Monday off with the entire family. Ella's conference already took place; her teacher asked me to have many more to fill up her class; Ella is very well behaved and right on task all the time.
Funny thing said by Eva; We were reading a book about a fish who wishes to be someone different and he wished to be a Beaver. We were sounding the word Beaver out because she has troubles with the letter 'V' and then I asked her "Why would the fish want to be a Beaver," her reply " to have big teeth and eat wood!" She makes me giggle!
