We're Alive

It seems like these days I have a lot less time for everything. I have been working more, trying to save up some money for a house but I'm missing out on some family time. These last couple weeks have been crazy but my October doesn't look to bad YET. I am loving the crisp air and the smell of cider and pumpkin. I have made time to bake still, fresh pumpkin bread/muffins, yummy! Those extra 2 days at hospice really makes a difference in my life. I do miss my girlies but they are both in school in the afternoons so I like to think I'm not missing too much. We are all healthy and definitely keep busy. We hope everyone is enjoying FALL.
We went out to support Children's Hospital downtown at Slice of Columbus. The Lindahl family would never miss all you can eat pizza. :o) There were also a lot of games for the girls, we all had fun.
The girls and daddy enjoying the day, mommy was at work. :o(   They need there bonding time!
It's fall and that means cooler weather in the evening....fire time...smore time...happy girls.

Daddy took the girls golfing again while I was working, they all had fun. Eva even made a whole in one, she was one proud little girl.

And one last Reds game for daddy and Ella. It was bark in the park night so Ella was in doggie heaven. They enjoyed their last game.

               ohhhhhhhhhh as Ella says.

We went and supported Ella's school in their 1st tech run, it was a 3k run, Ella ran the 1st lap and Eva just the last little part across the finish line. They had bounce houses as well and we visited with other new friends.

Dance

My girls in their dance class, Eva is taking a combination class which has ballet, tap, and tumbling and Ella is taking Jazz. They both love it!

Well our life is busy now with running to school and dance and work. The girls are tired and are slowly getting into some kind of routine. It has taken a lot for Eva to adjust most days to school, she goes to bed really easily every night. We had a great weekend, went to the last outdoor movie of the season, Brave! It was a little chilly but it was nice to cuddle with my girls, we all enjoyed the night. Although we paid for it the next day because Eva lost a few hours of sleep and was crabby all day on Sunday. We didn't a good nap in because we were busy running around; we HAD to go to a dog show; adoption on the lawn. NO we did not get a dog and YES Ella wanted them all. We had a great time petting each and every one of them. They also got their face painted and we had some free food so why not spend the day with the friendly four legged creatures. We hope everyone is ready for fall because I think its here already! I do love everything about fall except the inevitable future; winter.
 :o(

Trying to enjoy every last nice day!
We made up a new game, how many times can you hit Ella in the face with socks? :o)  We all got a turn throwing and being hit.
Evan and the girls had a water fight last week to end the summer fun!
We also attended the last outdoor movie of the season, "Brave" It was a bit chilly but we all snuggled to stay warm. A night to treasure!
The girls at the dog show!
Daddy playing catch with the girls, their getting pretty good!

We also played mini golf at an arcade place!

Evan and Ella in the go-Kart! Eva is still a bit too little.
We also played a few games!
Our first stop in Cali! Burbank with Jay Leno!

The famous Jay Leno! Went to the taping of his show, it was really fun and funny! Didn't get on the big screen though. :o(

Tried my first in-n-out burger, I recommend it!
                                                                  Hollywooooood!

The Hollywood sign is behind me somewhere!

Took this pic for the girls and they loved it!
                                            Our first baseball game: Dodgers!

Running on the beach; my favorite part of the trip!

Another favorite part of mine, didn't get to see any Kardashians :o(

                                                 Rodeo drive!

                                           Santa Monica Pier!

Sunset on Manhatton Beach....the sun just disappeared into the ocean, the most beautiful sight ever!

A pic of me at our hotel, it was like a huge castle...pretty cool!

 Laguna beach

The Cliff Bar on Laguna beach
Did a little hiking to get to another beach, below Torrey Pines!
                                            Mainly used for hang gliders!

It was very hot so yes I'm only in my suit hiking up this mountain which says to stay back. We clearly didn't listen but we survived!

More cliff fun! That's Evan out there!

Look hard, someone is cliff diving!

Made our way to San Diego, downtown was called the Gas Lamp district and it was hopping!

2nd baseball game: San Diego Padres

                                             The Coronodo Bridge behind me!
                                          3rd baseball game: Anaheim Angels.

While we were having fun in Cali, Ella and Eva were enjoying activities with Aunt Becky and Uncle David. They made a sensory game for them!
                                            Another made up throwing game!
The girls before school one day!
Look at how much fun they're ALL having at dancing!

They did a little fixing around the house!

Had some picnics in the park!
And had some geography lessons. Cute!

Again sorry for the delay in posts. We have had family/work/traveling so have been a little more busy then normal. I'm excited to say we will be resuming a normal schedule next week for the fall and I'm pumped. Grandma Mary left Wednesday Aug.28th and we enjoyed her longest stay sooo much! Auntie and Uncle came the next day, Thursday. It's been awhile since we've seen them so the girls were pumped! With the start of school Dave and Becky didn't have to have as much planned but still had a long weekend so had a few ideas. They all enjoyed each other! We flew out for California early Thursday morning. We lost 3 hours so it was a very long day! We rented a car and headed to the Jay Leno show. From there we went to Hollywood and to eat again and then the Dodgers game. I was almost falling asleep at the game because it was really 11 when it was 8 there time. Hard adjustment! The next morning we went for a run on the Manhatten beach, only 3 miles away from our hotel. The houses are the beach were beautiful as well as the water and the waves. Everything about the beach/ocean/palm trees/weather was truly amazing. It was my first time to California and I knew I would love it! We showered up and headed to the Dash store and Rodeo drive. We hit Santa Monica Pier before heading back to the Manhatten beach to enjoy the sunset and dinner at a local fish bar. The best day! Saturday we headed down to San Diego and stopped by Laguna beach for lunch on at the Cliff Bar! Next we hiked down the cliff to another bar and enjoyed the night out in San Diego Gas Lamp district. The last day we hit 2 baseball games and made our way back to LA to stay close to the airport because we flew out early Tuesday morning. We had the most wonderful time away but was glad to be home safely with our girls. Aunt Becky and Uncle David have stayed a couple extra days to help do a few things around the house and help me with the girls while I worked. Thank you to them for all their help; it is so much appreciated!

The Mario cake I made for Ella/Eva's little friend Sammy!  My first time working with fondant...pain in the ASS but it turned out ok especially for a 5 yr old who loved it! Made his day so it made mine!
