Happy Valentines Day

On Valentines Day, we had a great heart day! They kept saying "I love you heart Valentine!" We had heart cookies, we made/ heart biscuits and got lots of goodies from grandma&grandpa Vondal and Lindahl and auntie and uncle Dave and Becky and Auntie Hopie and Auntie Nellie. The outfits in the picture were from Grandma and Grandpa Vondal. Thank you all for sending your love!

Adam Levine from Maroon 5, the most amazing concert. I was so incredibly lucky to be there, I will treasure it forever.

So after watching baseball bloopers with Evan on the computer, Ella and daddy were pretending that daddy was going to pie her in the face. Well Evan thought it would be funny to actually do it so he put frosting in a papertowel and got her, lets just say she didn't think it was so funny, oh and Eva wasn't so thrilled either. She was more upset and wouldn't stop talking about it the rest of the day. She just kept saying "daddy you're really not really ever gonna pie me, right?!?!"

At a birthday party, we have never been here so the girls really had a good time. There was playgrouds, trampolines, BB hoops, soccer nets.

And CAKE! Never thought anyone could love cake more than me but Ella most certainly does.

Sports 101; Evan has been working with the girls on BB, golf, and baseball. Since we are not in any extracurricular activities we try to keep them busy and their minds thinking.

Well working with kids is incredibly tiring, I thought it might just make life a little easier but nope just a different busy. Welcome to our new crazy life! I worked everyday this last week from 8-4, so it was early mornings which we are not used too. I think that was the hardest adjustment; good thing its not the norm. From now on it will be 10am or later for me to start work which I'm happy with. My job thus far is going well, I think I will really like it. The whole area of hospice is a wonderful place with wonderful, caring people including the doctors and executive director. No one seems better than anyone else, we are are there for our patients who need us. It's a great environment to work in! This week I work tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Hospice and Friday overnight with my normal client. It will be busy. Wednesday was the concert, I went with my best friend Jenna and her friend and we had a fantastic time! Of course I was the only lucky one who had to get up for work in the morning! So lucky to have a new job. :o) We had a great Valentines day, not much time spent together but the girls were happy and we all had a great dinner (heart shaped cresent rolls with chicken nuggets and Pink Champagne Cupcakes). This weekend was time to catch up on sleep for sure, we didn't do much. Ella and Eva both have bad colds so sleeping is already a challenge. The weather here is so weird, snowing part of the day and sunny the other, I prefer warmer weather. I really don't know how I ever survived in ND with below 0 temps. I can barely handle 20 degrees. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed Valentines Day as much as we did!

Izzy, cutie guy!

                                                                       Eva's bowling!
                                                                      Ella's turn!
The girls are dancing with Beyone during the halftime show of the Superbowl.
Even I really enjoyed the puppy, missing cuddling with her at nights when the girls weren't hogging her.
                                                      Ella and Izzy
                                                 Eva and Izzy
Poor Izzy was made to do everything, dancing, dress/up, carried around in her toy kennel/purse. I think Izzy was excited to get the heck out of here.
                                                                   Bedtime reading time!

We had a great week, I had some free time as one of the other moms and I watch each others kids so that the other mom can go do errands or something for herself. So I dropped the girls off and had a few hours to myself, although it surprising how fast 2 hours go. Eva and I went to school with Ella on Wednesday because I helped volunteer at the school. Eva had her first speech lesson here at the house last week as well. She had so much fun working one on one with the teacher while Ella spend some bonding time in her room. We had Izzy at that time and listened to music/ painted Ella's nails while she also played games on my phone. She made the cutest comment; "Mom this is awesome, its so quiet and its just you and me. We can do whatever we want! Glad she thought it was a cool idea! She is looking forward to doing it every week when Eva works with her speech teacher. I have found out that I start my new job on Feb. 11th, it will be some busy weeks but I am so happy to find a good work/kid schedule. I finally get to do something for myself and I couldn't be happier that to help others in the process. After my 6-8 weeks of training, which will include 3-5 days a week plus my Friday overnights I will begin to work just 2 days a week in which I get to pick what days/times. Its so flexible and I'm so happy I have found this job. Dave and Becky will be there, of course, to help us while I'm working almost everyday. They plan on bringing the girls back to Tennessee with them, alhtough hesitate because I have never let them go anywhere but when we left them last year they were with auntie and uncle so no other people better to be with. I know they won't miss us and much as we miss them! They will have a wonderful time! Hope everyone is staying warm, even here in Ohio its been ridiculously cold and I'm counting down the days to Spring.
