We opened a few presents before leaving for Wisconsin so we didn't have to bring them all with us.

Apprently the best view is from the womens bathroom, good thing I spent most of the entirety there between 3 girls I was running back and forth.

Santa greeted us on Saturday evening at the hotel.
Present time with Grandma and Grandpa, they were so excited!
Look at how cute they can be, they are certainly the most precious when they sleep!

Tyler got a gun so Eva was pretending to shoot people!

Hope and Jeff found a site where Santa talks to you so made one for all the kids, CJ was on the naughty list and the girls thought that was really funny!
Eva was so eager to open presents!

We went out to eat on Christmas Day, Picture of all the grandkids.
Last picture before we left! What a fantastic place to spend Christmas at, many memories created here.
There's just no place like home!

We certainly had a fantastic trip! We had fun in Chicago and a blast with both of our families. We left Friday late morning and traveled to Chicago, we had Pizzeria Duo the first night and looked around on the Magnificent Mile for awhile. Nike Town was our favorite! Saturday was spent mostly in Chicago, we first went to Navy Pier and had lots of fun there! We then headed to our favorite beach which was really close by. We took a taxi from there to a Christmas Kringle market which was packed with people so we didn't stay long. We took another taxi to the Hancock tower to have a drink up in the Signature Lounge. The girls loved the taxi rides! Ella was a good girl most of the day but Eva was tired from the start of the day which meant Evan and I had to carry her most of the day. It made the day very tiring! The girls are both so big now so its not as easy to carry them everywhere! We left Chicago at 330 in time to meet grandma and grandpa in Sheyboygan, Wisconsin. They beat us there by 20 minutes- not bad! We had dinner at Applebees and checked into the Blue Harbor resort. Santa Clause was meeting the kids and then reading a story so the girls headed down to the lobby while the boys unloaded the car. :o) This santa was perfect! We then opened a few presents before going to bed! The next day we opened more presents and headed down to the waterpark. It was awesome! We all had a good time! We had lunch and had naps and then my family arrived! We enjoyed the evening with both families in the waterpark again and the Villa. The villa had 2 floors with 4 bedrooms, very spacious. The next day we relaxed and hung out at the Villa. It was  not attached to the hotel but a short distance walk. It was very cold out so we stayed in if we could. My dad had booked a massage at the hotel spa for my mom so we went over with her and then made lasagna for Christmas Eve dinner. We went to church at 5:30 and came back to dinner and present opening. The girls loved their message from Santa that Auntie Hope and Uncle Jeff set up, what an awesome surprise for them when they returned from church. We got to bed late, Eva didn't even open all her presents she was so tired! No problem more exciting the next day, Santa gifts and presents to open. They each were very pleased with all their presents; clothes, pj's, books, movies, stuffed puppies. Santa also delivered a wii game system which they were happy to see. Ella did mention that she was sad because she did not get a REAL puppy but hopefully soon that will happen. Time will tell! We enjoyed our last day in the waterpark and together in the Villa. We went out to eat in the evening at a nice restaurant also and then packed up. It was a short trip but so happy we got to see our families. All worth it, although Evan and I hit bad weather on the way back. One of the interstates was closed after Chicago so we had to take some small highway which was snow covered with ice, we deifintely felt like we were in ND. It never fails, we always hit bad weather over the holidays. It took us about 2 extra hours to get home but we arrived safetly home. Although we did get stuck in our driveway but quickly got out and got the girls to bed. No matter how long we are gone its always nice to get home. HOME SWEET HOME! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
